| Name: | Jack Spicer |
|---|
(roleplay journal)
Jack Spicer has had ambitions of world domination since the second grade. His family is rich but both of his parents work away and thus Jack is thus left alone at home nearly all of the time, but even so Jack seems to have a good relationship with his mother. Not only that, Jack started building robots because his mother told him he 'needed a hobby' One day, Jack's father sent Jack home a puzzle box from Hong Kong, and when Jack opened it, he freed Wuya, an ancient Heylin witch who had been sealed in the box 1500 years ago in a battle against Xiaolin warriors, during said battle weapons called 'Shen Gong Wu' were used.
The Shen Gong Wu had been hidden all across Earth after the battle with Wuya 1500 years ago by a monk called Grand Master Dashi, and would not awaken until the Xiaolin/Heylin battle began again, and with Wuya once again free - albeit in a ghostly form - the Shen Gong Wu awakened and Wuya began guiding Jack to the Shen Gong Wu as they each awakened, where they battled the Xiaolin Dragons in Xiaolin Showdowns for ownership of the Shen Gong Wu. Jack Spicer would fight most of the time using his robots instead of fighting them himself, but he also would use the Shen Gong Wu when in ownership of them. However, through almost constant failure, Jack was left by Wuya various times, though she went back to him a few of the times. Jack also idolizes the ancient monk-turned-Heylin, Chase Young, to the point of being considered an obsessive fanboy ("He touched my hand!").
While the Shen Gong Wu are supposed to be magic ancient weapons of war, Jack often uses them more to amuse himself then to actually fight with them (as he has robots for that). For instance, after obtaining the Rio Reverso, Jack used it to answer questions that no one supposedly knew the answer to, using it on a football to turn it into a big, using it on a chicken (which kept turning into an egg and back), and even oil, which somehow turned into a dinosaur. He also used to Lunar Locket to move the moon around and declare himself ruler of the moon, and the Ring of Nine Dragons to turn himself into a referee and two basketball teams, and these are just some of the things he has done with the Shen Gong Wu.
Jack, as said, yearns to be a great evil mastermind, but isn't that good at it. He is extremely vain about himself, often referring to himself in some form of "Jack Spicer, evil boy genius," though he is actually in his late teens which somewhat negates the "boy" part but that is besides the point, and he also often gloats and highly dislikes being interupted while gloating. He tries hard to be the great evil mastermind, but unfortunately, he cannot stand being away from his mother for too long, is afraid of the dark (and being flushed down the toilet, among other things), lives in the basement of his family's mansion, easily bossed around (be it by Wuya or his little cousin Megan), is insecure about many things which supposedly created his evil nature, and is often called a whining mama's boy, or some variant of that.Despite that however, Jack does have his moments of sheer cunning and ruthlessness, as few and surprising (to both his allies and enemies) as those moments are.
Before Jack was taken, he was working on robots in his "Evil Lair," aka the basement he lives in.
A list of things your character might have on them after they got snatched up and put on this island:
-His clothes, goggles, gloves, shoes, etc
-His Heli-Bot which is like a jetpack but with two helicopter-like extensions instead of jets and allow Jack to fly, which he won from his grandmother
-Various tools used for making robots (but sadly, no parts to make any robots)
-The Monkey Staff, which is a Shen Gong Wu that, when activated and in the user's hands, allows the user to become monkey-like in appearance (including a tail!), as well as gaining the strength, agility, and balance of a monkey. When active for too long or when the user activates the monkey staff further, the user mentally becomes a monkey until the staff is taken away
